Mirgrating Hummingbirds

The Ruby-Throated Hummingbirds are now mirgrating through Minnesota while the weather is still relatively warm. For the first time ever, there was both a female and a male at the feeders at the same time. Okay, so this would be the first time they were seen at the feeders. For all I know, they could be there all the time, just leaving right before I happen to look out the window.

Here the female is taking a break from feeding. She will sit there for 10 minutes at a time between feedings.
Hopefully in the spring when they are mirgrating back through Minnesota they will stay here longer and perhaps more than a few will stay. I think it will be time to put up some more Hummingbird feeders and maybe some Columbine and/or Lantana.
