Butterflies
A few weeks ago, the Como Park Zoo & Conservatory opened a new exhibit featuring butterflies from all over the world. I was unable to go until today, but would like to make a few more trips to see some more of the various species not native to the United States.
There were a lot of different species in the butterfly tent while I was attempting to photograph them. Many were constantly flying around - only a few would land long enough for me to take a photograph. Hopefully I will have better luck on future trips in the coming weeks.
I do not know all of the butterfly species shown below, but I will update this entry as I am able to figure them out. If you know of any, please let me know so I can update the captions of the photogrpahs below.

A Julia Butterfly.

A Paper Kite Butterfly.

Another shot of a Paper Kite Butterfly.

A close up of a Blue Morpho. They show their brilliant blue as they are flying, but once they land, they close up their wings.

A Blue Morpho, with it's wings closed.
Wow! You got a lot of nice close-ups!
Are they literally flying around you? Or is there some kind of net in between or something?
Yup, they are in an enclosed outdoor net that looks like a caterpillar, and they allow like 20 people in at a time to view them.
